MyStudyMate is designed to be your comprehensive academic headquarters. Whether you are preparing for a difficult exam or just trying to organize your daily notes, our platform provides the tools necessary for deep, focused, and collaborative learning.

By combining advanced Large Language Models with a student-focused interface, we allow you to transform passive reading into active practice. This manual covers everything from basic navigation to advanced AI interactions.

Adding Friends

Connecting with your colleagues is the first step towards a collaborative study environment. In StudyMate, your social network is built specifically for academic cooperation. You can search for friends directly by their username or use our instant QR code system for physical meetings.

Search by Username

The most direct way to find your colleagues. Just go to the Social tab, click the magnifying glass, and type the '@' username.

Scan QR Code

Each student has a unique StudyMate ID. Scan a friend's code from their profile or share yours to connect instantly.

Deep Study & Sessions

The heart of MyStudyMate lies in its study sessions. A session is a focused workspace where you can interact with Spark. Solo sessions are optimized for deep focus using the Pomodoro method, while group sessions allow for shared brainstorming and collective problem solving.

Solo Focus

Perfect for deep concentration. Use the built-in Pomodoro timer to manage focus and rest intervals.

Group Learning

Create a session for up to 8 members. Everyone shares the same AI context, allowing for collaborative problem solving.

Spark AI Functionality

Spark is not a simple chatbot; it is a pedagogical assistant. It has been fine-tuned to help you learn rather than just giving answers. Whether you need a complex concept explained in simpler terms, a dynamic quiz to test your memory, or a summary of a 50-page PDF, Spark is equipped to handle it all.

Highlight text or ask Spark to break down a difficult topic into simple, understandable steps.

Dynamic Quizzes

Spark can generate quizzes with 5, 10, or 20 questions. Choose between Easy, Medium, or Hard to match your level.

AI Flashcards

Instantly create study decks from any conversation or uploaded PDF. Export them to PDF or share as images.

PDF Summarization

Upload your study materials (PDF) and let Spark extract the core points and definitions for you.

Settings & Personalization

Personalization is key to a comfortable study experience. In your settings, you can manage your identity, enable high-security biometric locks, and control exactly how much of your activity is visible to others.

Profile Management

Update your name, bio, and avatar. Your profile is your academic identity in the StudyMate network.

Biometric Protection

Enable FaceID or TouchID to lock your app or protect account switching. Security first.

Privacy Controls

Choose who sees your online status and avatar. You can toggle presence between 'Everyone', 'Friends', or 'Only Me'.

Data Sovereignty

Export your full profile data or manage your subscription level (StudyMate+).
