StudyMate is more than an application — it is a project developed by Martim Galamba, a 12th-grade programming student, with the goal of uniting technology, learning, and digital security. From the beginning, he has been committed to creating a safe, ethical, and balanced environment where curiosity is encouraged and privacy is respected.

The mascot Spark represents this balance: it helps students think and discover answers for themselves, without ever replacing human reasoning.

Security has been part of the StudyMate creation process since day one. Each feature is designed not only from a technical standpoint but also a pedagogical one, ensuring technology is an aid, not a distraction.

We conduct tests and behavioral analyses to prevent excessive use and promote a healthy balance between study and rest. If the system detects incorrect behavior or offensive language, the case is manually reviewed.

We work alongside teachers and students who help make StudyMate safer and more educational. We also maintain contact with educational institutions.

StudyMate follows compliance principles with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and digital security best practices. In scenarios involving privacy or the protection of minors, we are available to collaborate with schools and educational authorities, providing technical information and support as required.

If misuse, unauthorized access attempts, or abusive behavior is detected, the issue is addressed swiftly. Each situation is treated with strict confidentiality and a focus on learning and prevention.
