You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a StudyMate account. If local law requires parental or school authorization for teen users, that authorization must be obtained before access is granted.

Our product, moderation systems, and study flows are designed to support a 13+ audience in an educational context. We work to reduce harmful interactions, limit inappropriate content, and keep the platform focused on learning.

Families and schools play an important role in helping younger students use technology responsibly. We encourage parents, guardians, and educators to review the Safety Center, discuss digital conduct, and guide students on privacy and responsible AI use.

If we discover or reasonably suspect that an account belongs to a child under 13, we may restrict, review, or remove that account to protect the user and maintain compliance with child-safety expectations. Reports can be sent to our support contact for manual review.
